I’ve Got a WikiWiki Now
…Or should I say MoinMoin? Well, MoinMoin is the WikiWiki I’m running. Confused yet? Well, don’t be.
I particularly like the Calendar.

To get rid of the annoying SQL error message, the annoying “Here Are The PageLinks”, and, much to Roger’s chagrin I’m sure, I’ve modified the Abschicken button.
If there is enough complaints, Abschicken will return.
So tonight’s the first opportunity I’ve had in a week to sit down and revisit the original sin piece … things are coming along much better now. Hope to have it thought through a few more times, a little more researched, and done by the weekend. I found some flow, though it is still a bit disjointed at the moment.
In other news, I spent about 5 minutes watching William play with his hand tonight. He held it in front of his face, twisted it from side to side, opened and closed his fingers, touched his forehead, played with his mouth a little, always bringing his hand back to where he could see it. He was truly fascinated … smiling and squeeling at his hand. Good times, these little discoveries.
He’s also started scooting. He scooted across about half the room tonight. If he keeps up his scooting, I think he’ll be crawling within two months.
Cooing babies are the best. It just makes you so warm and fuzzy inside.
I’m 30 minutes late today. Josh is up on time, though … Lisa will have to make up time for her shower later (as usual … oh well). Last night, someone rung the door bell at about 1:00. It had me paranoid and restless the remainder of the night.
>:(
I have discovered the power of the more tag
…but not today. My radio silence of late has been due to trying to get things at home squared away. In terms of office space, that means getting all my hardware and software sorted out, and in the process of that, I decided to undertake a few special but needed projects.
If you visit the Personal link above, that’ll take you to the web server hosted off of my machine at home. There’s probably some kind of bogus rule on my ISP that says I can’t do that for too long – but I doubt I’ll get the kind of traffic that will make them take notice. Anyways … I’ve set up a new blog specifically to cover the Chastain Family experience – something I should probably think and talk about more AND something that Lisa can participate with me in, and hopefully the kids too as they get older. I also set up a new family photo album. I’ve got a few family pictures in it, but it will be growing quickly over the next few weeks. I’ve got something like 500 pictures to sort through and post.
Anyways … so that’s what I’ve been up to. Go check it out!
And quit trying to tell me that I am! I want to go for a walk! I feel happy!! I feeel happyyyy!!!
Ugh … real life has made a nice attempt at killing all forms of hobby cyber time. I’m simply stunned I have the luxury to make this post. Between work, home, and church I’ve been uber-busy.
Unfortunately, I don’t see this trend coming to an end any time soon. I’ll be out of town again in a week, and Lord only knows what will happen after that. I think that things are going very good, professionally speaking, at work; however, the luxury of elbow room in my schedule up until now has always been a plus. Allowed me the time to do this kind of stuff or stuff that would allow for this time later in the day. As it is, I’m in the groundbreaking activities for a program of work they tell me is likely to carry me through retirement and beyond … and so, with such a scope in view, there’s a lot of work that needs to be done and the more done now, the happier the bosses are. Professionally speaking, this is all well and good.
God knows it’s making use of my talents, but I don’t know if it’s really what I ought to be doing. ‘Course, I don’t have very many other options at the moment except to up and quit (which really is no option unless the antichrist becomes in some way my boss – Bush and/or America haters, this is your cue).
So, feel sorry for me. Because that’s the only reason I’m writing this. Oh, and to say that I’m really sorry for not posting much of anything lately. I’ve got a number of interesting things I’ve been doing at Church I’d like to share … unfortunately, just not the time to really get it all written out. Such is life. Hope all is well with the rest of you. I’ve had very little time to follow along
Not that I’m a regular blogger by any means … but I’m off on my retreat … of silence … if you know me, this will be something of a challenge. Hopefully, this is well intended, will be well received and blessed.
No, seriously. I really should be in bed. A few weeks ago, Lisa and I admitted to ourselves that we do not use our time wisely. To that end, we put together a general routine schedule. During the first week, I did pretty good – I think Lisa thought she did alright. During the second week, it bombed. So before last week, we readjusted the schedule, and we did alright. This week, we’re bombing pretty solid; however, we’re trying to resolve to make the rest of this week solid (and right now, I should be in bed … something isn’t right about this) So, anyways, for those that can keep tabs on me (as in you most likely can see me snooping on the web), here’s our schedule.

Not exactly what I’m looking for, but it’s a little more userfriendly I think. Waddaya think? Like the new way better? Or the old way?
