You know you live in the south when…

If I didn’t know it already, I officially now know I live in the south.

Tonight, I listened in on the youth group’s lesson and the youth pastor said:

“Jesus loves y’all!”

I had to refrain from giggling. Yall?! Isn’t it, Jesus loves you?

But, like I said, I’m in the south, so, remember Jesus loves y’all.

well, He loves all of us, and usually when i hear the ‘Jesus loves you’ in a large group of people, i assume the person is talking about the entire group, not just me. in other words, it would be ‘you’ in the plural, which in the south is translated to ‘y’all’. yep. :)

Oh, come on Alisa…. Jesus loves the rednecks too and we’re just trying to let everyone know He loves ‘em!! =) Ya’ll have got to get a grip… it’s just southern slang, not another language. ;) just kidding… See ya @ the GSH
