New things.

Here are a few new things that have recently come into my possession that Id like to share:
bootsBOOTS! Yes! I got boots. Not only did I get boots but I got these boots for $8.74. Target and their clearance prices crack me up. Why $8.74? I would of willing handed over the extra 25 cents. I thought of asking for cowboy boots for Christmas or my birthday but once I saw how pricey they were, I wasnt so sure. So I put it off and off and didnt get some for those holidays. Then Target had this lovely random sale, allowing me to get my very first pair of boots! I wore them today with a jean shirt and felt very, well Rory Gilmore. My pastor thought my boots were great too, which means ether the boots are awesome or my pastor is.
overdressed
I know. Who would of thought that I would get this album? I thought I was done with Caedmon’s, but the used bookstore had it for cheap and why not complete the collection, no? Im only three songs into it, (which were a Derek then Cliff then Danielle songs) but Im surprisingly enjoying it. Before I bought it, I did check to see how many songs were written by Josh Moore. None! Thats was the selling point for me. Still surprised at this purchase.
iphone
Few weeks ago I got this pretty, shinny, iPhone. Well, Jason and I both got one. A year ago, I didnt see the need for an iPhone. I had a perfectly good phone and iPod. After both have let me down within the past year, the iPhone became more and more appealing. Jason of course has wanted one since MacWorld of last year when he was there listening to the Key Notes speech. Im pretty happy with it, other than most of the folks I talk to are on Verizon (who I do not miss one bit. Verizon, not my friends). Im being scarce with my minutes this month so they roll over to the next so I wont have to be as careful. So, this is letting all of you Verizon people know, your daytime minutes will be charges, but please still call!

i am SHOCKED you got Overdressed. i hope you got a good deal on it!

i’m kind of jealous of the iPhone, but i still can’t justify having a more expensive plan to go with it.

I am very disappointed about the lack of Verizon. None of my Verizon-less friends ever call me back. (True story.)

Uh Ive so called you since having At&T so :P

I’m mad at AT&T for combining with Cingular and Bellsouth, because next time my contract’s up I’m almost definitely going to switch to them. And Verizon has been good to me (although I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE my phone. But that’s Motorola’s fault.). Now, virtually everyone I talk to is on AT&T.

Also, I have been surprised at how well-received Overdressed has been. But I won’t rant here. :)

you’re right kari (are we still phone twins?), it’s like, do they think they’re better than us with their fancy phones?

oooh pretty shiney iphone. I want it…. but sadly can’t afford it. I’ll just have to continue doing voodoo on my crappy free samsung Sprint phone until October when we can switch to something better and get new phones. xoxo!

I recently purchased some boots, as you may have read about on my LJ (which I am, if you haven’t jumped over there recently) updating with much more frequency than in times past.

They’re black though. And I got them at Mervyns, which consequently were a bit more expensive. I want pictures of you with them ON though. Please? I may be able to respond in kind.

And I have to admit I’m a little bit disappointed that you’ve left the Verizon family. Think of all the good times we’ve had talking for free. And you just throw them all away. Excuse me, I need some time to contemplate this.
