A vacation is having nothing to do and all day to do it in. November 15, 2006
Tomorrow I am doing something I have never done before.
I am taking a day off for no reason at all.
I’m going to grocery shop for Thanksgiving, maybe do some baking. See a movie. Go shopping. Or maybe I’ll sleep super late and watch the 14 episodes of What Not To Wear I’ve got on the DVR. That sounds pretty good.
I am very, very excited.

If I had a day like that right now, I’d do … nothing.
[I have done similar things, usually calling them mental health days. I could use one right about now, but I can't take one until mid-December. So, enjoy the time away.
