I don’t normally call things a spiritual battle. Not that I don’t believe in spiritual battles. It’s just not where my mind immediately goes when something bad or wrong happens.
Today, I was reading about the crisis going on in Haiti. Not just reading about it on CNN or watching videos on MSNBC. I was reading emails sent by Compassion staff living and serving in Haiti. Emails written with shaky hands, with the echoes of gunshots and screams outside. I was reading about a crisis that is not as distant as it once would have been.
I tried to post a blog about it. One with powerful videos and pictures of children in Haiti who need sponsors. And every time I tried to post this blog, it wouldn’t work. Error message after error message.
So, this post will not have any pictures. No videos. Just a simple link. Will you consider sponsoring a child in Haiti? One whose life is likely filled with fear right now? One who needs your support. Your prayers.
One who needs you to join them in the battle.
