So, since only one person responded to my plea for ideas thread (don’t worry Jeff, I’ll get to your idea next week), I decided to talk about friends.
I recently watched a movie that, to me, showed some absolutely beautiful examples of friendship. These were not fair weather friends. They stayed with each other throughugliness and hurt. They loved when their friends were unlovable.
They supported their friends through difficult situations. They laughed together, cried together and rejoiced together. It was beautiful
This morning, as I had breakfast with a friend, I thought of the things that I love about my friends.
I love that my friends make me laugh so hard that I do my patented nose fart (it’s pretty much just a reverse snort…very classy).

I love that my friends encourage me, even when I’m being whiny and difficult.
I love that my friends kick me in the butt for being whiny and
difficult.
I love that my friends think of me when I’m not around.
I love that my friends buy me chocolate.
I love that my friends know me intimately. They know from a simple text message that something is wrong.
I love that my friends sacrifice for me. That they get up early to take me to the airport.
That they will pause in the midst of a busy day and have coffee with me.

I love that my friends help me when I don’t ask for it. That they will help me pack for a big move. That they
will bring me medicine when I’m sick.
I love that my friends give me cards and make me signs to hang in my cubicle.

I love that my friends love me.
I love that my friends teach me to love. Wholly. Completely. Sacrificially.
I love my friends.
I love.
We miss you, Brandy. Saturday nights are really dull around here. David was just saying the other day that he misses you. And no one ever calls us anymore because their stove caught fire.
i like that my mom is your friend cause without you…… i would be whineless!!! and everyone needs a good whine.
