I am visiting from the link you left at Compassion. I believe God is asking me to “adopt” another child so I am looking and praying, praying and looking. It is hard to choose one child out of so many that need our love, prayers and yes, money.
Anyway, I went back and started reading your old post and realized that you lived in Hannibal, MO. I lived there during my teen years. Class of ’93
I imagine Hannibal is much better to live in when you are a adult and can be around other adults. I miss the river for sure. Lovers Leap is wonderful to go to when you want to ponder on things.
I’ll visit again. Some of your post yank at my heart and bring tears to me eyes. It is hard to read about a child dying over something like lack of iron supplements. Sometimes I just don’t understand this side of Heaven…..
