here i am again
at this lonely bus station
waiting to be rescued,
hoping for a lifeline
to drive me far away
(will i take it this time?)
far from this sadness
full of tranquility
and silence
to a place not so drab and dreer
where i’ll be in love
with the sound of sounds
i’ve never heard
awash in colors that will
redefine my senses
