In dreams…
So I’ve been running regularly, and a lot of days I leave from the hospital and run around Ardmore, then come back and shower in the fitness center at work. And in my latest running route (I can do 3.5 miles straight now – whoohoo!), I run down Ebert from Hawthorne (I know this means nothing to those of you not in Winston – sorry) and there on the left is this beautiful house! It’s been under repair for a week or two, and its just now been put on the market and I finally found it online – the picture is small, but you can kind of see how cute it is – especially the sort of extended dormer window upstairs and the little front porch! And the color is a sort of khaki/gray color in those old-fashioned kind of siding – love it!
Anyway – thanks for the prayers for my grandmother – she’s doing better, moved out of the ICU and is already walking around – she’ll be there til next week sometime, and then moving into the nursing home part of the retirement community where she has an apartment, before she moves back into her own apartment. I may go up at some point in the next little bit and see her, maybe once she’s back on her own and still needing some help getting around.
