Last night in class we were discussing current events in the Middle-East. Specifically, the Israeli’s killing of the Hamas leader, Yassin, with a missle attack.
In case you were not aware, Yassin was a quadriplegic. He was in poor health and confined to a wheel chair. Probably more of a figurehead at this point than an actual leader, but who knows for sure?
Anyway, at one point in our discussion it was brought up that this was actually the second time they tried to kill him (obviously they succeeded this time)
To which someone in the back of the class asked:
“Wait a minute. It took them two trys to kill a guy in a wheelchair with a missle?”
heh. Yes.
Yes it did.
One of life’s little quirks I guess.
C’mon people, it’s not exactly rocket science! (I’ve always wanted to say that)
