compulsive compartmentalization

Captured thoughts…on exhibit in the zoo that is the blog-o-sphere.

There is no such thing on earth as an uninteresting subject; the only thing that can exist is an uninterested person. - G.K. Chesterton

Yesterday Sarah and I tried playing tennis. I have to admit, I’m much better than I was when I was in high school. I’m still not a good player, but at least I don’t hit it over the fence much anymore.

Much.

After an hour of playing in the hot sun, we came home, showered, and tried to relax. Not too long after getting home Sarah was down for the count with a migraine and I was getting a fever. I spent last night tossing and turning while trying to decide if I would freeze to death or burn up. I also dreamed I was in Africa, trying to take pictures of lions and elephants and then fearing I was going to be arrested for threatening to kill someone (he kept headbutting me, what else was I supposed to do?). Much to my relief I realized I was dreaming, and settled back down to toss and turn waiting for my muscles to stop aching.

So today I’m taking it easy. A plan that includes skipping class and playing xbox. Maybe couple of tylenol and a nap.

Yessir, big plans.

I blame tennis.

  2. I have found a good dose of laziness will keep the tennis virus away. And many other virii in that same family. :)
