I finally wrestled this drawing into the inking stage. This one has taken me a lot longer than I’d like…if commissions take a long time it’s usually the fault of the sketching stage. Once I get the pose down and it’s approved it moves a lot faster. One commission every 2 months isn’t going to fund my Surround Sound savings with any great speed.
Anyway, here’s the inks They came out pretty well. For you art nerds out there I’m using Fiber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens. They use India ink and the black comes out way darker than the Micron pens I was using.
I’m in the process of coloring this one and sometime this week I’ll post the end product in all it’s glory. In the meantime I’ve got a paper to research, classes to go to, and a page about a Honky Tonk Disco that I’m finish up illustrating for an anthology contest. So I’m pretty busy.
And yet still I find time to watch Plinko on the Price is Right.
PLINKO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Plinko!
