compulsive compartmentalization

Captured thoughts…on exhibit in the zoo that is the blog-o-sphere.

There is no such thing on earth as an uninteresting subject; the only thing that can exist is an uninterested person. - G.K. Chesterton

I like getting out of the house to work these days. I get a little more done with a change of scenery.

After being up here a year, I’m still trying to figure out what works best in terms of where to keep things. I like having my markers to my right, but also my drink. This is a potentially disasterous combination.

(Incidentially, the picture above is a page of Transformers that I got to ink. Cool? Yes. Complicated and time consuming since the robots were the movie version and designed like piles of junk? Also, Yes.)

I still feel like it’s a bit haphazard. Maybe I need a plant.

  1. I don’t think a plant would be the keystone. Also, drink placement is the easiest thing to work around. Place everything else where you want it first. But…is the window a good place for the drink? Does it get warm there?

  2. I try to put it on the window, the problem is I instinctively reach to my right for my drink.
