House Plans - Updated

We’ve been busy planning our house (or at least hopefully our house). Here’s some plans to let you know what we’re thinking of. I haven’t mastered the program yet, so they’re a little off!

Here’s the first floor plan:

That thing bumped off to the side is a screened in porch. The south wall is the one all the way to the left, and it will have a cathedral ceiling (about 20′) with (hopefully) triangle windows in the peak.

Here’s the loft plan:

The loft extends a little bit over the living room line. The walls of the upstairs bedrooms are flush with the walls downstairs. There will be dormers in the upstairs bedrooms to add space since the wall slopes sharply.

Lots of fun!

Here’s the view of the east wall:

This isn’t including the basement (the house will probalby be in the side of a hill). Ignore the size of the chimney! I’m working on that! The shed roof on top of the screen porch isn’t completely closed in either… so it looks a little funny… but oh well :wink:

Here’s the south wall:

I haven’t figure out how to get the windows up in the top half yet, but you can get somewhat of an idea.

The colors and siding are off too, just in case you were wondering - I just put something in there for now.
