My friends have a baby of almost the same proportions, Hannah. Little Joshua is doing just fine.

If everyone was in the middle of the height-weight charts they would have nothing to average together. Good grief, if it isn’t one thing it’s another! Hang in there… and let us know what he ends up liking to eat!

I remember reading in one of the books we used to read when your mother was pursuing a craft business that some kind of newsletter is an essential. Many people who like your work at a show but aren’t ready to purchase then really would buy later if they had a reminder.

I think that it must be in our family to have to deal with weight issues. They had us coming in every six weeks for Ethan from the time he was born because he never quite fit the “ideal” weight category. Don’t stress about it-Seamus looked quite healthy last time we saw him! Go with your own intuition. As the parent, you’re usually right. The things I thought were wrong with Ethan, no doctor would listen to me for quite a while about, and now he’s having surgery to correct those issues. I never really thought the weight was a big issue, and it’s turned out not to be. You know when your child is doing well or not well, for the most part. Keep up the good work!

I was a little surprised that this doctor made such a big deal out of it. One of the reasons I liked him initially was because he didn’t make a big fuss about Éva’s size, which was quite tiny when we first started going to him.

You have shows in Greenville? There must be more people there than I think…:)

Greenville grows from 1,500 to 10,000 during tourist season… and the shows cater to the tourists, not the locals. We have one each month, June-September. The September fly-in is huge… it’s one of the largest sea plane events.
