Finished! Well.. almost

Finally… I finished my large birch mosaic.

Now I am ready to grout my Aunt Margaret’s mosaic, my Aunt Barbara’s mosaic, and the birch tree. Should be a fun grouting party tomorrow.

Here’s what the birch tree looks like right now, prior to framing and grouting. (the white spots are where the glue hasn’t dried yet)

Do you do a lot of birch trees because that’s the name of your business?

Thanks, everyone!

Roger, birches are definitely my most popular sellers. And I love doing them.

Aunt Barbara & Aunt Margaret, your mosaics are grouted… and looking good! I’ll have them framed and sealed this week and then they’ll be on their way!

Yay! The reserved spot of wall is ready in my foyer! (I tell guests, while enthusiatically pointing to a blank wall,: “and THIS is where the mosaic MY NIECE is making ESPECIALLY FOR US will go!”) Looks great in these pics - can’t wait!

That is by far your most beautiful birch yet.
