Another milestone

Today, my dear sweet Éva passed another milestone in her journey of faith. We were reading Discovering Jesus in Genesis this morning as part of her Bible lesson for school, and had come to Chapter 11, where a little girl accepts Jesus into her heart. Éva’s heart apparently was tugged, as she told me she wanted Jesus to live in her heart too and prayed that “Jesus would clean up the yuckies in her heart.” Tears filled my eyes this morning, as I saw my daughter, who I’ve prayed over for the past 4 years, take monumental steps in her spiritual journey.

That is so special! Really cute video too. I remember when I was 5 and my dad and I had a similar conversation; I don’t remember many specifics, but I believe that God had been growing me and has continued to grow me since then. I pray that the same will be true for little Eva as well! What a little doll.
