Nostalgia.
I talked to a dear friend tonight, and as much as I loved talking with him it made me miss so many experiences and friendships I had several years ago. I’m sad that those days are over. Is it ok to wish I could do it over again even though I’m so happy about how my life has turned out?
I can’t explain what I mean. Things are a little fuzzy for me today. Maybe that has something to do with the fact that THE RED SOX WON THE WORLD SERIES LAST NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that it’s okay, Kathleen.
Oh … the SOX WON THE WORLD SERIES. Tell Reilly. I don’t think he knows.
I think I understand what you mean. There isn’t anything wrong with reminiscing, and missing the past. Regret is an inescapable part of life; just don’t get so caught up in the past that you miss the glory of the present.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to watch TV, tend to a migraine, and spread anti-Sox and anti-baseball propaganda everywhere I go.
I think I know what you mean. I often look back fondly on the past, but wish that some things had turned out differently. Though I’m happy with where life has taken me.
I agree 100 percent, Rhonda.
