Good Grief: Lord of the Beans???

Toto Baggypants (Junior Asparagus) is a young Flobbit who has inherited a special bean with unique powers from his uncle Billboy (Archibald Asparagus). But Toto doesn’t know what this extraordinary gift is for. He sets out on a quest to discover its purpose with Ear-a-Corn (Larry the Cucumber), Leg-o-Lamb (Jimmy Gourd), and the dwarf Grumpy (Pa Grape). But along with adventure, danger awaits them on their journey—they must face the evil Sporks! Their expedition takes them over the Mountains of Much Snowia, through the Razzberry Forest, deep into the land of Woe. Will the “Fellowship of the Bean” complete their quest? This new VeggieTales episode also features Wynonna singing the original song “It’s About Love.” Plus Larry the Cucumber, dressed up like Elvis, is featured in a special edition of Silly Songs with Elves!

Hannah: it’s going to be a VHS and DVD only release (not in theaters), but full-length.
I’m usually anti-law suit in our overly litigious society, but viewing the trailer had me shouting out loud, “Sue their pants off!!” …hoping that somehow I was being heard both by New Line Cinema and the Tolkien estate.

Yeah… I’m not really liking this. There are book knock-offs all over the place, but this is just too much.
I lost my respect for Veggie Tales a long time ago. I’ll probably come across this at some time, but I won’t be buying it, for sure.

I personaly love veggie tales and The lord of the rings… I really don’t think this movie is goig to do any more harm than the new “naria” movie

LORD OF THE RINGS books and movie are awesome!!! and I don’t think a cute movie teaching kids to use their gifts is going to hurt anything most of al “The lod of the rings!” ~Jenna~

You people really don’t have enough to do, do you? What a good idea - sueing a company for telling kids about God and how to use the gifts He has given them! Well done! Tolkien would be turning in his grave - not at the LOTBeans but at YOU! I think he’d get a kick out of LOTBeans. He apparently had a great sense of humour. I think you may have misplaced yours. What a shame.
