Dr. Visit
Today six-day-old Jireh had his first doctor visit. He is currently 6 lb 9 oz and still 20.5 inches long. He had his first immunization shot. He was a real trooper (and a real “pooper,” he had to have his diaper changed 3 times during the visit)!
He is also quite flexible! Here he shows off his ability to totally fold UP his foot! Hannah and Philip call this his “ski jumper” skill –a future Olympian?
He is starting to stay awake more during the day and likes to look at some little toys. Éva loves to show toys to him and tell him “I’m your big sister.” Aren’t those big, bright eyes adorable?

I haven’t had a chance yet to say how happy I am for you and Mark and your whole family, but I’ve been following your wonderful posts with eager interest in this precious new little one’s entrance into the world. He is such a beautiful baby. Many, many blessings to you!
