Worth tracking down
I know that Mark is usually the one who does the unveiling and/or reviewing of various OT Studies offerings. But I am going to step up to the mike for this one (watch out… it’s another “I & I”).
Our friend, Dr. Bill Wilder (who when teaching in Africa never quite recovered from writing his name on the board as Dr. B Wilder and being called Dr. “Bewilder” ever after), has just had an article published in our very own Westminster Theological Journal. The Spring 2006 issue (Vol. 68, No. 1) just arrived from the printer and the first article under the Biblical Studies section comes from his pen.

I recommend to you “Illumination and Investiture: The Royal Significance of the Tree of Wisdom in Genesis 3.” I had the privilege of hearing the core of this article when it was presented as a paper at an Evangelical Theological Society Regional Meeting (Spring 2005).
I am hopeful that the ideas of the article will be included for discussion in one of my WTS courses this fall (OT 821 Genesis 1-3).
Congratulations, Bill!

Thanks for the congrats, Karyn. And for the advance word that the issue is out. You and Mark have always been good about keeping me up on things.
