Hoos for Hokies
On a day like today, all the rivalries between UVa (I’m an alum and still work with the Physics department) and VT melt away. Our daughter, her husband, and many, many of their friends graduated from VT. Mark and I have former students who are still students at VT. Our hearts and prayers go out to the students, the families of the victims, and the entire community. We are praying for the campus ministries and churches that we know in the area that they would be able to be a comfort and source of healing to the community during this time.

It is amazing/wonderful to have the ability to communicate via Facebook. We were able to quickly hear information about the safety of friends. Thankfully, it appears that all our former students are ok.
