Moments with Maggie
Our daughter, Sarah, and her husband, John, keep us feeling a part of the family with an online family webpage featuring (almost) daily pictures and snippets of life in the Free household. Here’s the current story…
(from Sarah) Maggie and I were talking one morning as she was eating breakfast. I had recently heard from Ethan’s teacher that one of Ethan’s good friends has become quite enamored with Maggie and always makes sure to find her on the playground. I wanted to find out what she thought of this, so the following was our conversation:
[s]: “Maggie, is Hayden one of your friends?”
[m]: “Yes, but he’s not my boy.”
[s]: “Oh, well, who’s your boy?” (expecting a name of another boy in her class who she likes to play with)
[m]: “Ethan.”
How sweet is that?
Sweet indeed. Grandkids are great.
