Marriage bliss
I’m married. We’re married. I have a wife. My wife. I am a husband. Very cool.
I am very glad to be able to say that life as a married person is very good. Kathleen and I haven’t had a real day as a “regular” couple, yet, given that we’ve been on the road, and are still on the road. We’ll get back to Dallas late tomorrow (Thursday) evening, if our flights are all on time and so forth. I’m not sure what that will be like, but it will be wonderful, I’m sure.
As a side note, World Vision as partnered with Tully’s coffee to give US$1 million to tsunami relief. So that means think about buying Tully’s special tsunami relief blend if you’re a coffee person.
World Vision has been humbled by the response of our corporate partners to
help survivors of the Asia tsunami disaster. One example is Seattle-based Tully’s Coffee, premium coffee roaster and retailer, who has offered to help us raise $1 million to help the disaster survivors. When you purchase specially marked Tully’s Coffee, 100% of the net proceeds will be donated to World Vision’s relief effort in eight countries.Starting Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005, and running through Apr. 15, purchases may be made at all Tully’s Coffee stores in Washington, Oregon, California, and Idaho. Tully’s Chairman Tom O’Keefe explains, “We at Tully’s Coffee are dedicated to supporting our local communities and by partnering with World Vision, we are all helping the global community in this time of need.”
World Vision is grateful for Tully’s corporate leadership and quick response to the people who have been so devastated by the events of Dec. 26, 2004.
