We actually went with front-loading LG washer and dryer. They were on sale at Home Depot, and they are very nice. I really appreciate the spin cycle in the washer. The clothes is dryer than anything I’ve ever seen before, and only maxing out at 900 RPM. We looked at a couple models from different companies that had spin cycles of 1000+ RPM! Definitely better than our old top-loader at the old apartment. They are very nice. we’ll see how things work out with the energy usage. The washer is EnergyStar certified, so we’ll see if we actually can see the savings.

If you ever need a locksmith, do NOT use USA Locksmith (http://www.usalocksmith.com). I’m not even going to bother linking them, but I wanted to make sure that people know who they are and do NOT use them. They subcontract out, so they can’t quote you a price, and so you get ripped off if you’re on a time crunch, and their subcontractors aren’t that great, service-wise. Their dispatchers are rude and generally not helpful. All in all a bad experience, but we had to get the work done. I should have just ditched the guy after he took almost a week to come back and do the 2nd part. I should have just gotten someone else to do it. GRRRR.

I use a counter, and just reset it due to weirdness, and in less than 24 hours, I’ve already had hits from India and Russia. Wild.

So, for those who remember, there was this one song, track 11, I believe, off this one brown CD about 10 years ago that was quite the breakthrough release for this small Houston band. It’s playing as I type this. Or at least it was. I’m now several days out from when I started this post, and now I’ve forgotten most of what I wanted to say.
Anyway, we’re set up in Houston, mostly. We’re working on unpacking the last bits of things, and getting stuff all put away. Anyway, drop us a note if you’re in town, as we’re relatively free now, before we start work on the 24th. Hope to hear from you!
