A Teddy Lover’s Travels…

So yeah I don’t think I’ve had a more fun and eventful weekend in a long time. It started off with Erik coming down to get me at Mike and Rachel’s. We watched an episode of scrubs. Then we went back to his house.
The next day was Friday and we went to go see Lucky Number Slevin. A good movie, much better than I thought it was.
The next day was Saturday and it was the day that Mike and Rachel were helping Greg and Edrie (Mike’s Parents) with their moving sale. Then Rachel hung out with Erik and I while Mike and his bother went to go get some money for all of the books that were left over.
Rachel, Erik and I sat in the basement wanting to remain cool. Erik’s mom brought home a chicken and we all went and had some. Then Mike came back and we all went to go see X-Three the last stand. Good movie.
Then it was back to Erik’s house where later Graham come over and it was time for some gaming. Everyone when home and it was just Erik and I.
The next day was Sunday and Erik and I really didn’t do a whole lot. We talked and had a fun day just the two of us. We watched a lot of star trek.
The next day it was Monday and Erik took me to the zoo. Where we saw lot’s of animals, penguins, puffins, wild cats, seals, sea lions. We even got to see the Sparky show.
We went back to Erik’s house and sat around for awhile. Then I made some pasta. It is always fun cooking for Erik.
Then we went out for awhile and then it was time for me to go home. Erik took me home and I gave him his copy of the invatation to our wedding.
Today Rachel and I went to Brookdale and on the way we stopped and brough Erik a sandwich. It was a lot of fun hanging out with him. Then we went to Brookdale where she was kind enough to purchase me my bridal shoes, as a part of my wedding present.
I’m missing Erik a lot right now. It will be fun to come home to him. Btw we got the apartment.

So when I start to really miss Erik I have some strange things that I start to do. Most of them are things that he does on a regular basis. I do things like drink coke, his drink of choice. I also do things like hug all of the stuffed animals that he has given me.
It maybe dosen’t bring him here, but I guess it brings a part of him here. I know that this is silly but whatever.

So this will be posted in two different places from now on. I have moved back to lj and I’m also at rmfo. It is your choice where you want to read my posts. Lj will remain locked and rmfo will remain unlocked. I just thought I’d let every one know that.

Well in other news Erik and I are waiting to hear back from our apartment. Yes we put a deposit down on an apartment this weekend more on this later.

I’m almost done with them now. It took Rachel and I the latter part of two days to get them done. Getting the addresses was the hard part now it’s just finding time to sit down and write them.
I have so much to do and so little time thank heaven that I have had some help. Mom the invatations look great.

Over a year ago Erik gave me his Jars of Clay hoodie. I still have it and I still wearing it very often. it’s just so warm and when I’m cold I like to be warm. It is one of my favorite pieces of clothing that I own.
People in the past have told me that it’s to big for me. I don’t care though since it’s sort of mine now.

Most of my life I’ve had some type of hayfever. This time of year I’m just all stuffed up and my eyes feel itchy. Today it was as bad as it’s ever been.
I was sitting next to a window and before long my eyes started watering. It hasn’t really gone away and I would like it if it did. Maybe then I would need to have a kleenex next to me at all times.
I don’t know what’s going on and I don’t really care that much I just found it interesting that I was just sitting on a window. Then all of a sudden my eyes started watering.

Today was my last day of school. Now it’s summer break, woot.

So I had my first dress fitting today. I have 2 or 3 more left. I have my grandma’s wedding dress and it’s been cleaned and now it’s been fixed. I mean it’s from 1951 and I so blessed that I get to wear it. I’m not going to spoil it for anyone though.
Just a little less than 2 months and then it’s all over. I get to be married to my best friend.

I don’t think I update this blog nearly enough. I know that in the past I’ve talked about spending the weekend with Erik. That is one of the things that I look forward to the most.
This means that I get to spend some one-on-one time with Erik. I also get to spend some time with him and some of the other people that we also hang out with. This is pretty much the same most weekends. But then it’s over for the weekend. I don’t get to see him again until sometime the next week and that almost always includes the weekend.
I’m looking forward to the days that I can just be there waiting for him everyday when he gets home. Since I get to be the one that he comes home to on a daily basis. This is not that far off anymore. I feel better about this, and this makes leaving him much better.

I’m just having a sleepy day. I’m not that tired I’m just kind of tired. I’m sitting in the school computer lab and I just checked one of my grades.
it seems I did really well this semester. I’m happy with all of the grades that I’m getting. I haven’t gotten grades like that since high school.
All in all I’m glad that today is my last day of class and that I only have one day of finals. I get to now focus on this summer. That is not an easy task.
