The type of husband I hope I never lose

Friday, September 22nd, 2006

Last night Erik and some of his friends from school were going to go to Gameworks to celebrate being half done with school. 6 of their 12 terms have been completed now. I was ready to let him go.
That wound up not happening. Instead Erik brought us home dinner from Taco Bell. I’m so lucky to have someone that is this kind. He is never scared to find little ways of showing me that he loves me.
He makes me smile so often. He has so many cute little things that he does. He has never brought me home dinner before. I love you hun :).

2 years, that’s it???

It was two years ago tonight that Erik asked me to be his girlfriend. I feel like he has been in my life forever. I’m really happy to have since become his wife.
He is not only my husband, but my best friend. I am in shock that it has only been 2 years. We have gone from being boyfriend and girlfriend to being engaged, and now we are married.
I’ll never forget the night he asked me out I could hardly sleep I was so excited. I love you hun.

I bet you’ll never believe this but I’m updating with my new computer. A nice laptop from Circut City that Erik bought me. It seems to work really well. I need a laptop for school so I think it was time that I went out and got one. Now all I need is to put word on it and I’m set. It ws time for me to get a new computer since my other one was about 3 years old and not in very good shape anymore.
On another note I got to see Tol live last night. That show blew me away. I can’t even compare it to NIN that I saw last fall. I had a lot of fun last night. I’m glad that I finally got a chance to see Tool live. There was so much to watch, a light sho, a screen behind them, and of course all 5 of them. That was probably one of the best nights ever.

Now it’s my turn to update about my goddaughter

Well I see that mom, Rachel and Erik have already written about Emma. I guess it’s my turn. When Rachel went into labor she called me and told me that her water broke. She and Mike left first and then Erik and I left a little later.
I was with Rachel most of the time. When Mike went to sleep I took his spot next to Rachel. I had a lot of trouble trying to sleep in the labor and delivery room. Everyone else took a nap.
Emma came into the world on September 11, 2006. I was so happy that I got to witness her birth. As her godmom I’m very proud of her. She was born at 4:59 AM. I was there and present for her birth. I was one of the first people to get to hold her.
Since I spend a lot of time with Rachel Emma clearly recognized my voice, and she looked at me. I think I was more emotional than mom herself. I mostlly want to congratulate two of my best friends on having a new baby girl in their lives.
When Emma came home with Mom she wore the very outfit that my sister and I wore. One more thing her whole name is Emma Rhea Kioski
