Just because I am standing behind a bar (where we serve only beer and wine), why does that make people think that I will find vulgar and crude statements humorous? I won’t. So, don’t bother.

My name is Rhonda. I am blessed to live in a beautiful place out in the country with my wonderful husband. In addition to our "real" jobs (I work at a garden center and he is a teacher), we have a small farm where we raise vegetables, eggs and chickens to sell at local Farmer's Markets. We are currently fixing up/remodeling a house into which we will soon be moving...hopefully. In my free time, (what is that?) Working with non_Christian 20 some year old guys I also get this at various times.
While I completely empathize with what you’re saying Rhonda, I take offense to mb’s non-Christian comment. I know plenty of “Christian” men who do and say lewd things. These kind of generalized comments about various groups are the kind of things religious extremists say to justify intolerance and hate; to set themselves apart, and make it easy to commit heinous acts. We should all be trying to focus on our similarities and not our differences, don’t you think?
If I were to be working with Christian 20 some year old guys who did the same thing I would of said so. You could of easily picked up on the fact that I said 20 some year old guys vs. any other aged guys, but you didn’t. Yes, Christians can easily be just as bad as non-Christians. When the group of people who I work with include actual Christians, then maybe I can be more generalised in my statement. I could share some of the comments they made just to show exactly how offensive they were, but I would rather not.
Thank you for clarifying that. I was assuming you knew 20-year-old Christians outside of work that would inform you of there equally offensive behavior.
