Dearest eyes,
I never knew how much I loved you. I’m so sorry that I took you for granted. Thank you for all these years of faithfulness, with me barely uttering a word of thanks. I never realized how hard you worked for me, until you decided not to work so hard for me. I never knew how many muscles you had until those muscles have been getting sore by the end of the day. And for the record, I’m not a fan of double vision, so if you could go back to the single vision, I’d love it. And soon. Thanks so much.
Your biggest fan,
Rhonda
My name is Rhonda. I am blessed to live in a beautiful place out in the country with my wonderful husband. In addition to our "real" jobs (I work at a garden center and he is a teacher), we have a small farm where we raise vegetables, eggs and chickens to sell at local Farmer's Markets. We are currently fixing up/remodeling a house into which we will soon be moving...hopefully. In my free time, (what is that?) I enjoy traveling, cooking, crafty projects, reading and watching the sun set on the hills.
This is how I feel about my lip. I love you, lip. I’m sorry I took you for granted. Please come back soon.
you and kari should do a show.. sort of like Mr. Goodbody.. about how much you love your lips and eyes.. I think this is a message that kids need to hear..
oh.. and be cool.. stay in school..
Now that your eyes are getting back to normal, I should have feeling in my lip any day now, right? Right?
Yes, you should. For sure. I don’t know though. How long has it been numb? Because my vision was doubled for almost three weeks. (And it’s come back somewhat this evening). So, it’s a process.
i’m glad you have your eyes back.
Did you ever find out what it was that your eyes were doing?
dan (curious)
Just wanted to let you know I was thinking about you, and I missed your presence on the board. I hope all is well on the West Coast for you.
so…i came to your blog. and was nearly blinded.
how appropriate that you wrote about your eyesight in your most recent entry.
Wow .. so nice to see the old formatting of Rhonda’s Ramblings !!
(my I.E. browser failed to appreciate your re-design)
Hope your vision has improved, and are having a wonderful New Year !!
