The Matrix: Reloaded

So, we saw the movie yesterday.

Other than the five or so minutes I spent looking at my wife’s face rather than the movie screen, I enjoyed the movie. I can’t say I entirely got it, but I did enjoy it. The first time I saw The Matrix was on video, so I had the opportunity to watch it again the next day. And then again before returning the film. I was able to really pick up some details.

I wish I could do that with The Matrix: Reloaded. Except, of course, of that five or so minutes of naked Neo and Trinity interspersed with something going on with a lot of partly naked people (I can’t say I really know what’s going on, as I didn’t watch. But I’ve heard it was an orgy). I’d especially like to see the conversation with the Architect again. I didn’t quite pick up on all that was going on in there.

Maybe I’ll rent the DVD when it comes out.
