I added some links to friends’ blogs. First, my canadian friend matthew christophorius genius rex, with theoloblog (he also has a site for his music at bugdrop.com), and second, an old roadtrip/concert buddy of mine, Gaines (he taught me everything I know about bootlegs), and his wife that I’ve never met, but am sure is quite lovely, Allison, at Team Redd.

I recommend them to you. Check ‘em out.

I am continually surprised when I find people that profess to be Christians, and are really serious about their faith, and are also hard core liberals. I guess I’ve just been sheltered or something, because it really freaks me out. In the past few weeks I’ve heard a guy say that he thinks socialism is idealy the best ‘economic/governmental system’, imply that we would be better off if we did away with private property, and question whether or not we can/should place higher value on human life over plant and/or animal life. This is a Christian saying these things!

It really scares me.

Boy, that blue background on the world map really makes my blog background color look dingy grey, doesn’t it?

And what’s the deal with all the little red specks all over the oceans?

Not because anyone else is doing it (except, arguably, Barb, since I saw it on her blog), but because I think it is a fun idea, here are the states I have been to…

And maybe Rhode Island as part of the drive up to Cape Cod. I don’t remember.
