This morning I listened to half of this.

Other than what was said on Mark’s blog last month, is there any commentary or criticism floating around?

I guess if I’m going to be using blogger’s comments, and they correspond with post page archiving, it makes sense for the posts to have real titles, and not just the first few words…

Well, all that whining about the comments template…. just forget about it. It’s all in the main template (like everything), just surrounded by conditional tags, which let you control when certain portions of the template show up and when they don’t. Kind of cool, actually.

So… sorry about the whining.

unless i’m mistaken, this new blogger doesn’t allow you to modify the template for the comments pages. Right?

If you pick a new template, though, the comments page template matches the main template. But if you edit the main template at all, then your comments template is going to be messed up.

I just want to edit my comments template.

However, there seem to be a lot of other cool MT like features on the new templates, like recent posts…

well… until I get the comments decision made, I have a little compromise going on. Maybe I’ll see which gets used more, or which is preferred, and go with that…

blogger offers comments now. in a mt/upsaid type way, where each post has it’s own page with all the comments below it…

Now I have to decide if I want to use that or keep haloscan…
