I stayed home from work today, just for fun. And I went out back, looking for worms to feed to the little snake. I lifted a log, and what do I find? Another one! This one a little bigger, but still not adult. I picked him up, and he doodied all over me. I cleaned up a bit, and then let the girls hold him before letting him go. Then we let the other guy go, too. Now they had better protect the house from evil varmits.
I took some real photographs of the snakes and the girls with the snakes. The digital camera is just too cheap to get a good shot. Here’s an attempt from last night.. it’s the only one that was even a little bit in focus:
