Thanks for writing in about our brand-new navbar feature. We’re pretty
excited to have successfully upgraded everyone to ad-free hosting while
simultaneously adding useful new features such as search, BlogThis!, and
NextBlog but we’re always looking for more ways to improve our service and
keep our users happy.

You can turn the Navbar on or off (as well as alter the color) at your
leisure if you use Blogger’s FTP option together with your own hosting
provider. Users of Blogger’s free hosting service do not have the option
of turning the navbar off but they may change the color any time. This
option is located in the “Template” section of your Blogger account.

what is up with that stupid blogger thing across the top of the page? It’s almost enough to make me dump blogspot…
