calvinism
I just saw a calvinistic baptist say this on a forum.. “It’s not an issue of soteriology, so why would there be any Calvinists position on this issue?”
ugh. As though calvinism were only about getting ‘saved’. I need to get back to work on my new five points of calvinism.

Hey, I just read that, too! I refrained from responding, so as not to be labeled a trouble-maker.
Too late for that, heretic!
btw, he was responding to another person’s question about a calvinistic position/opinion on interracial marriage.
The sad part is, the original question asked about the view of Calvin AND “the Calvinist position” on the issue. The failure to respond to the first part (I think) betrays the fact that certain “calvinists” really do think that Calvin spent all of his time talking about predestination and election (and maybe some baby sprinkling here and there). Which is ironic, since you have to get, like, 1000 pages into Institutes before he even touches the issues.
Oh well. Keep working on that 5th point! Reformation II will be televised! (Or blog-o-vised).
The question is: Will Reformation II be officially named Reformoto?
or maybe birdimoto, eh?
What a suggestion! Birdimoto. Since you mention it, that seems like a perfectly good nickname for you. Yes, I think that we should all start calling you Birdimoto. Thanks for bringing that up.
You have an L, E, and 2 S’s, right? LESS? All you need is a B! And then it will appeal to the sappy evangelicals, too!
