It is a momentous occasion. Today I received my very first comment spam. YAY!

I went to the library the other night. G & A came, and read some books for a while, then I picked out a big book with lots of pictures of bugs, and an audiobook for myself and Megan (it was before we went to Richmond on Saturday), and went to check them out.

I owed 15 cents.

I only had a twenty on me, and wasn’t about to break it for a 15 cent library fine. Besides, it was money for the girls from my Dad. I asked if I could pay it later.

No, the library lady told me I had to pay it then. I couldn’t check anything out without paying my fine. My 15 cent fine.

After I went out to the car to scrounge up a nickel and a dime, but failed, she gave in, and let me check out the books. But not again, she warned. I had to pay it the next time I came in.

Tra la la la la. Spring is in the air, and I am a flower with nothing interesting to say.

Last night we had some broccoli with dinner. Geneva picked up a piece and, holding the stalk, she started eating all the top, flowery part off. Then she looked over at Megan and me and said, “I’m cutting this tree down!”
