hebrews 6

In Hebrews 6, the author gives a pretty stern and frightening warning about falling away. He goes on, though, to assure them that he does not believe they will fall away, even though he is giving them this warning.

What is the basis of his assurance they will not apostatize?

Verse 10: “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.”

But what’s this?? God looking at their works? Scandalous!
