Oh, how could I forget to post about some movies we watched last weekend. Megan was feeling a bit under the weather, so we watched two movies over the weekend. The first was Friday night… we watched The Phantom of the Opera.

The only knowledge I had of the story before watching was the common organ bit from the music. Megan, on the other hand, owns a copy of the score and songs and whatnot from some performance. But she had never seen it, so didn’t know the details of the story.

Anyhow… it was okay. Kind of weird. I’m not sure I understand why it is such a big deal. Must be one of those High Culture things that haven’t learned to appreciate. Or something. For a day or so after watching it Megan sang the songs around the house.

Next we watched In Good Company, which has been on my list of films to watch since I first saw the trailer way back when. It was okay. Not as good as I was hoping. The Alex character bothered me. Some parts were really funny. I think Dennis Quaid did a great job, and so did little Topher Grace, for the most part.
