Dell DSL rebate

When I signed up for DSL, there was an offer for a $100 mail in rebate. Sweet deal, I thought.

But now I am beginning to be suspicious. The weekend before last, which was about six weeks after I sent in the rebate form and necessary paperwork, I checked the status of the rebate online, and it wasn’t in the system. Hmm, I thought. That’s not good.

So I called. They didn’t have my information, and asked me to fax it in. I did that last Monday, the first. I called again today to check on the status, and it still isn’t entered into the system. The guy I spoke with today said it takes up to ten business days for information to be entered into the system. That would be tomorrow, if Saturday doesn’t count as a business day (even though they’re there, working on Saturday). We’ll see how it goes.
