So yesterday evening we had our monthly Men’s Forum. We went over C.S. Lewis’s The Great Divorce.

Being the genius that I am, I waited until Monday to start the book. It wasn’t too bad at first. I got about halfway through it Monday evening. Read several more chapters at lunch yesterday.
And then I realized I had like five more chapters to finish by 8 o’clock. So I basically skimmed them. I’m a pretty slow reader. Well, maybe average. But not fast.

So I finished all but ten pages or so before I had to leave. Except I don’t remember hardly anything of the last three or four chapters. But, I learned a lot from the discussion, though I didn’t contribute much. I guess I’ll go back now and finish the book properly.
