Well, I called this morning, and to my great pleasure (and, being the cynic I am, surprise), they did precisely what I would have hoped they would do. Amazing!
The guy I spoke with manually submitted my rebate information, entered my email address into the system so that I will be updated whenever anything happens with my request, and told me that I should get my check in 3-4 weeks. I should be able to check the status online (If I choose to do so) within 72 hours.
