When my children get whiny, we (lovingly) call them Tendafoot (you know, the two-legged elephant that could power a small city with his whining?). They then laugh at themselves, and carry on. Then we sing the Lil’ Brudder song.

So, anyhow, the other night we had an episode of this. Then it was over, and we all went about our ways (I was making cookies, Megan was doing something with Fiona, and the girls were tromping around the house taking care of their businesses).

Megan sang ‘Here comes Peter Cottontail…‘. Geneva heard this, got it in her head, and adapted it to what she was thinking… ‘Here comes little FooFoo‘[1]. Ashley, in turn, continued with ‘she’s only got one leg‘.

Ah… such funny little children.
