At a forum where I’m a regular participant, someone started a thread with the title, “New book out in defense of Federal Vision Theology!”, and inside is just an image of the cover of this book.

And I am so angry about it. It really just makes me want to scream. I’m not going to bother replying it to it, but I almost wish I didn’t think most of the FV stuff was right, so that I could at least point out the lie implied by the thread. But, agreeing with FV theology, I would only be scoffed at if I pointed out the errors.

But really… it makes me very angry.

Turns out it’s a joke from the puritanboard. I’m not surprised.

Today is Halloween. And also Reformation Day. Two exciting and worthwhile things to celebrate, but not the biggies in our household. No… Most Important Of All, it is also Megan’s Birthday.

So Happy Birthday to my beautiful, champion pie baking, three-legged race winning, apple bobbing wife!

In the midst of an impressive and entertaining post, Matt had this comment,

Unbelievers getting married is like watching small children play “house” or “store”. They see grownups doing it, and they try to imitate, but they don’t have a clue about what it means to actually run a household or a store. They’re just going through the motions because “that’s what people do”.
