I can’t believe this.

What exactly are they attempting to accomoplish? Do they not want people to read that,

There is one God, who created the whole universe.
This one God exists in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
God has revealed Himself in the Bible, which is His perfect Word.
Man’s main duty in life is to know, love and glorify God.
Everyone is guilty of sin and deserves to be punished in hell for ever.
In His mercy God has provided one Saviour, Jesus Christ, who is both God and man.
Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead to save His people.
Only those who trust in Christ will be saved and go to heaven.
Only the Holy Spirit can bring people to faith.
Jesus will return at the Day of Judgment.

I don’t know, maybe I’m just a liberal, antinomian that is just kicking against the goads, but it seems like it’d be a good thing to think about those things on the Sabbath.
And what exactly is supposed to be resting in their taking the website offline, and just displaying their ‘Sabbath message’? Their servers?

I think Doug Jones needs to incorporate this into his Pettiness article.

Historically, the claim of consensus has been the first refuge of scoundrels; it is a way to avoid debate by claiming that the matter is already settled.
Caltech Michelin Lecture, January 17, 2003

bonus quote!: Whenever you hear the consensus of scientists agrees on something or other, reach for your wallet, because you’re being had.
