To Laugh, Or Not to Laugh
A moment ago Ashley came to me crying quite loud. And hard. I asked her what was wrong. It took several tries for me to determine what she was saying, but when I finally got it straight, the message was: Geneva hit me.
I call Geneva, and asked her what happened. She then explained, “I hit her. Annndd… the reason I hit her was because she was telling me something. And I didn’t want to listen to her. So I hit her.”
Ah. I tried not to laugh. Really hard. And it should have been easy, because it really isn’t that funny. It was really mean of her. But… I couldn’t help it. I let a laugh sneak out. She laughed, too. Then I told her it wasn’t funny and took care of business. All is made right now.
Does that mean I can laugh about it?

Well, I laughed after reading the statement. It would have been hard for me not to laugh in the situation as well. Definately one of those, “Do as I say, Not as I do” moments…
