I’m not a big fan.

Interesting. Challies bought it. Well.

I liked the old layout/style better (black backgrounds don’t appeal to me) but that’s not saying much in the way of content.

I find it interesting that he distances himself completely from the old DR yet wanted to use the domain name…why, I wonder, when the old DR had such instant name recognition (mostly negative, some positive) especially in reformed circles? Hmmm.

How’s the new job going? I was sorta hoping the diminished commute would cause increased blogging.

Jobs going well. Classes don’t start until the 22nd, so I’m finding myself with not enough to do. Hopefully it will pick up next week as I start preparing everything necessary for class.

It takes me about 7 minutes to get to work now. Comparied to an hour and fifteen minutes. I sleep about an hour longer, and I’m finding that when I don’t get up and get ready really early, the girls don’t get up really early either. They usually trot out around seven fifteen or seven thirty. And I get to chat with them for a little while before I head out the door.

And I come home at lunch. That’s really nice. Probably the best part of it all, so far.

When classses start I’m going to change my hours up. Plus, during the summer, I work four extra hours during the week and get a half day on Friday. That’s pretty nice. Tomorrow is my first half day. That means, though, that I’ll be leaving earlier, and so I won’t see the kiddos in the morning. Unless I start making them wake up earlier. But I don’t think I’ll do that.

Anyhow. I just don’t feel much like blogging. I’m sure it will pass.
