I think this may well be the best article to ever grace the pages of Credenda/Agenda magazine.

Artificial Muscles
This is a pretty cool concept. Plastics that stretch when a high voltage charge is applied to them are being used to mimic animal muscles. They’ve got a ways to go, but they speculate on having robots moving about like animals.
