Library Thing

Posted by: richard   in Everyday Things

So I finally signed up for a LibraryThing account. It was probably years ago when it came onto the scene, and everyone was talking about it. But I didn’t want to bother with it then. Now I’m addicted. I signed up a while ago, and in just three sessions I filled up the 200 book limit for a free account. I’ll upgrade to the lifetime membership at some point, and finish my library. I’ve added a widget to the sidebar so you can see 20 random selections from the 200 books I’ve entered so far.

Also, this game is fun.

Trinity Presbyterian Church is in the process of putting all of it’s books onto Library Thing for our members. We even had an article in the local news about churches keeping “in touch with technology”. I guess it is funny that our Reformed Church is trying to “keep in touch”.
