I’ve been going through and adding titles to my posts so that my archives can be accessed (I’ve completed through June 2001 so far), and I’ve noticed something funny.
My default category is ‘Everyday Things’. It’s what I use for general updates and stories about my life and so forth. However, in going through these old posts I’m finding subjects labeled ‘everyday things’ that are far from every day. Like… getting engaged, my wedding, announcing our first pregnancy, feeling my first baby move for the first time, and so forth. Hardly every day sort of things. Guilt rushes in on me as I save each of these posts with such an ordinary category.
