promise me you won’t be a star
for that you are just too wise
too wired and just the same as us
i’m just along for the ride

Having been so bold as to give many local C’ville friends the link to this blog as well as that of my LSW (Long Suffering Wife), I thought it would be good to give a background explanation for the URL of this site, http://rmfo-blogs.com/rumorsage.

I began this blog at the instigation of my friends at the Rumor Forum, a message board that grew out of the officially unofficial Caedmons Call fan site. The board was named the “Rumor Forum” because it was originally set up for people to comment on the rumors (some actual, some humorous) that appear on the caedmonscall.net home page. Over the last few years, that board has grown into a very active community of people not all necessarily connected to or interested in the band Caedmons Call. Anyways, after I had been posting there for a while and people foolishly began asking me for advice on matters in their lives just because Terra has made a few more trips around Sol for me, one of the members dubbed me the Sage of the Rumor Forum (rumorsage for short) and it somehow stuck. There you are. Aren’t you sorry you asked now?

And we think it very fitting, too. With age comes wisdom, and with thyme comes sage.

  2. Geof F. Morris Says:

Mark, we’re blessed to have your sage in our dishes.

    Thanks, Geof and Roger…

As for you, Trey….I believe that it was I WHO GAVE YOU THE FIRST BRONZE OAK LEAF CLUSTER WITH BRASS FILAGREE. Of course, you’ve probably pawned it by now.

    or baby spice.

    she’s hot.

  6. kindergarten joe Says:

    IZZ NAUGHT AH RUUMOR!!!!

that joke never gets old, just more sage-like ; )

  7. the Sage Says:

Joe, Silly: the Sage would never try to compete against Baby Spice….especially in the swimsuit component.

Joe, Kindergarten: like a good joke or a fine wine, the Sage turns all vinegary and unpalatable if he forgets to put a cork in it.
